    Drive west through the heartland, welcomed by your host family with fresh dairy and salty milk tea.

    A herder's morning

    Rise with the sun: milking, herding and learning how a ger is put up and taken down.

  3. Day 4

    Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu

    Visit the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and its oldest surviving monastery.

  4. Day 6

    Farewell to the family

    A last morning ride, exchange of gifts and the drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
